General Information:
- ~All players are guaranteed at least 2 matches.
~MATCH NUMBERS ARE NOTED ON THE DRAWS
~Matches are scheduled to begin (ON COURT) at 9:00 a.m. All players involved in matches #1 - #11 need to report to Robinson HS Tennis Center by 8:45 a.m. All other players need to check in to the tournament desk by 9:45 a.m.
~Because of the number of matches, some players will have to play “back-to-back” matches. We will try to allow at least a 30 minute break between matches if time & weather allow.
~MATCH FORMAT: 2 sets, no-ad scoring with 10-point matchbreaker instead of a 3rd set if players split sets
~The 10’s draw format will be an 8-game pro set, no ad scoring
~NOTICE: Match format may be changed to an 8-game pro set if we have rain delays or get a late start because of weather
~Once checked in, all players will need to remain at the courts throughout the tournament. Either bring food/drinks with you or have parents go get food for you. We will try to follow the schedule according to match numbers, but some matches may be played “out of order” in order to accommodate rest time between matches.
I will not be at the courts until approximately 8:15 a.m. If the weather looks bad in the morning, no decision will be made about rain delays/etc. until 8:15 a.m. Please do not call before 8:15 a.m. if you have questions.
Tentatively, SUN afternoon would be the time that the tournament would be rescheduled in case of cancellation on SAT. Play would begin at 12:30 p.m. and would be played as 8-game pro sets.
